Hey i need some help with something. Whenever i download custom scenery then use it in a game and quit, when i load the game again and click the Scenary Items button, the game closes and it says something causes Roller coaster tycoon 3 to close unexpectingly.

RCT3 looks for custom images for use on Billboards within the game in the folder C:Users(Username)DocumentsMy Pictures. When I try to create the new folder called My Pictures in the documents folder I get do you want to merge this folder with the existing My Pictures folder Yes / no. If you say no it doesn't create the folder, if you say yes it merges it (it seems) and the new folder is not created. It seems impossible to create the folder because of this issue. can you help ? My Son is autistic and doesn;t understand why he can't use Bill boards.....

first, make sure you have win zip or 7 zip.download the customscenery you want. when the folder comes up, click 'move file.' whenthe menu comes up, click on my computer. go to your main file.click 'program files'. go to rct3. go to the folder style, and thenclick themed. click 'move'. close the window. go to start. click onmy computer. go to your main file, go to 'program files', thenclick rct3. go to style folder, then click themed. your customscenery file should be there. right click the file, then in themenu that comes up, 7 zip or win zip should be there with a arrow.scroll over it. click extract file. extract the file to C:ProgramFilesAtariRollerCoaster Tycoon 3 PlatinumStyleThemed. extractit. go to your game. look in walls or scenery objects. it should bethere. hope this information was helpful.
